These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Nova voice assistant software ("Nova", "the Software") and the Nova website at nov-assistant.com ("the Website"), operated by Escipion ("we", "us", "our").

Nova is an open-source, locally-run AI voice assistant. The core software is provided free of charge under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, and distribute it in accordance with that license.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Nova, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

The core Nova software is open source under the MIT License. These Terms apply in addition to (not instead of) the MIT License for the open-source components.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the Website or GitHub repository. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
